I read your question you should give a bunch of roses to your teacher because there is nothing in this wold more than the relationship of flower and fragment and the relation of a teacher and student is just like this and you can say your teacher while you are giving this that “madam or sir if i am a rose you will fragment because without fragment rose has not existence”

teacher retirement party ideas and Can someone help me pick the perfect present?

teacher retirement party ideas:

Question by tinkswings: Can someone help me pick the perfect present?
My mother in law just retired after 36 years of teaching the firsdt grade and was a very dedicated teacher and is a great mother in law only problem is we dont have alot of money to spend on an expensive gift and her surprise retirement party is the end of this month. I would love to giver her something very thoughtful but cant come up with any ideas as yet and thought someone out there would be able to help. She is not yet 60 and loves gardening and traveling and her grandkids. Very into church activities.
The reason Im having such a problem is that the sister in law in all her glory is buying her a laptop and there is no way we can compete with that but I need some ideas to get on track for a thoughtful heartfelt gift that will mean something to her down the road. Oh yeah my SIL is also putting an album of pictures and letters from everyone invited to the party together for her also. so thats out too. Hope you can help and Thanks.

a bag of jelly beans might do the trick. if not, purchase her a recordable vhs and a bar of Irish Springs soap.

Found teacher retirement party ideas in If you were a nun would you find this offenseve? (ideas for an art midterm project!)?

Question by Lady Jagger: If you were a nun would you find this offenseve? (ideas for an art midterm project!)?
For my art midterm I have to make up an invitation to some type of event (kind of a dumb project) so I, being a huge Bowie/Jagger fan, decided that it would be cool to make an invitation to Ziggy Stardust’s retirement dinner (it was a very famous party back in the 70s) This party is referred to as Ziggy Stardust’s Last Supper, so I thought that it would be interesting to draw David Bowie and his friends in DaVinci’s last supper. There are pictures of the party and everyone is just sitting at one big table and it looks just like it lol. The only thing is I go to a Catholic school and my art teacher is a really nice nun, so I don’t want to offend her. Is that inappropriate?
Than you SOO much!

I’m not really sure…I’ve never been to Catholic school so I don’t really know what the rules are or anything. Does the nun have a good sense of humor? She might appreciate the humor in your idea. But I think it’s a judgment call on your part.

What do you think? Answer below!

Found teacher retirement party ideas in Are these ideas for economic survival too radical?

Question by Edward N: Are these ideas for economic survival too radical?
The status quo is not sustainable. We’ve heard that often enough. So what? Some “brainstorming”, “outofthebox” thinking may be in order to meet a dramatically different future, than what we have enjoyed in the past. What do you think of these ideas? And I welcome yours (before I wave my magic wand)
1. All efforts, appropriate, to eliminate illegal immigrants from our jobs, our schools, emergency rooms, courts and jails. Secure the Southern border.
2. Women who have chosen to be Mothers and have a working spouse, go home. Your absence from the workplace and your presence at home with your children will be the greatest contribution to your community that you can make.
3. Social Security benefits paid only to those actually in need of it to prevent poverty. (This was its original intent anyway) Also, eliminate the cap on FICA taxes. Everybody pays on all income earned.
4. Police, firemen, teachers, union members and others on pensions and retirement programs agree to cuts in benefits appropriate to the crisis, until it is passed. Soc. Sec. too.
5. Abolish our present system of taxation. Adopt either a “fair tax” or a flat rate system. This would free up TRILLIONS of dollars presently in offshore taxhavens, which would return to the US. giving our economy the biggest possible shot in the arm.
6. Toss out ALL incumbents in Washington, elect new blood, not career politicians who are bought and paid for by special interests. Both parties have abandoned The People.

That would return us to the principles that prevailed before government took over everything. It would never work.

Have each of the teachers give her a photo of themselves and a note to the principal. She can compile these into a simple scrapbook that the principal will enjoy viewing over and over again.

teacher retirement party and Josh’s speech at his Dad’s retirement party

teacher retirement party:

...

On June 5, 2008, a huge party was thrown at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa to celebrate the retirement of my father, Dr. Lorne Rachlis, from 37 noble, selfless years of service to public education. His current job was Director of the Ottawa School Board, and there were many colleagues and friends and family there to thank him for doing so much for the Ottawa School Board, and for education in the Province of Ontario in general. There were many speeches given. And, as esteemed as this event was, for some reason they let me give a speech, too. Even though I don’t know much about the inner workings of public education. I do, however, know much about the inner workings of the Rachlis household…
