What songs would you add to my 3rd grade classroom?

I’ve got an Extra Credit station where students can listen to a song and answer questions about it. I only want songs that will help build character, so “I’m In Love With a Stripper” is out. I’d like some more diversity to the genres I’ve already picked out, so I figured I’d ask you guys. list title & artist, and if you’re feeling super helpful, a link to the lyrics online. Remember they’re 8 & 9 years old. Below are the songs I’ve already gotten:
*Short Supply- Tracy Chapman
*Dreaming On a World- Tracy Chapman
*Another Day In Paradise- Phil Collins
*Waltz (Better Than Fine)- Fiona Apple
*El Toro Relajo- Selena (not character building, but fun & cultural)
*Man In the Mirror- Michael Jackson
*Put Your Records On- Corinne Bailey Rae
*Out of the Rain- Etta James
*Three Little Birds- Bob Marley
*Better People- India.Arie
*Conviction of the Heart- Kenny Loggins
How cute that Paula Cole was who you listened to “way back when!” I love how varied the answers have been. Keep ‘em coming!
